Enterprise and Franchise

My business has multiple locations. Can I get SiriusXM Music for Business in each location?

We specialize in multi-site deployments and even have discounted enterprise programs for businesses with 50+ locations. We build custom programs all the time, so let us know what you need, and we’ll find a way to get you there.

Each location will need its own SiriusXM Music for Business Subscription and player. The player can be one of our dedicated hardware players, a mobile device, a connected device like Apple TV or Amazon, or any other device that supports SiriusXM service.

Does SiriusXM support franchise programs?

We have been developing national franchise programs for almost 20 years. Our franchise team will work with you to build a custom program designed to support the needs of your franchise organization.

Most franchise programs include preconfigured kits to remove friction from the franchise purchase process. We’ll help you build a system to manage and control the music to ensure your franchisees keep the sound consistent with your brand identity. Our team will also create a franchise showcase website that will give you a place to send franchisees to learn about the music program, order equipment and service, and get support when needed.

Do your support franchise organizations?

Yes! We have decades of experience helping franchise organizations bring structure to a music program and put guardrails to ensure franchisees only play music that is on-brand and approved for use.

Our franchise programs included a co-branded Product Showcase Website where franchisees can review the music program, listen to the music, make a purchase, or get support.

If you are a new franchisor or have a national brand, we can build a program to support your music needs. There is no franchise program that is too big, too small, too complicated, or too simple for us to build and support.

Our objective is to grow with your organization. We’ve created and managed hundreds of franchise programs over the years. We would love to use our experience to help you bring a consistent, easy-to-use, and easy-to-manage program to your franchise organization.

Can you customize billing for multi-site accounts?

Yes! Nothing ruins a relationship faster than billing problems. That’s why we built a custom billing system that provides us the flexibility to provide the bills in any way you want to see them.

Our billing system is built to support the needs of the largest, most complex business music accounts in the country.

If each location needs an individual invoice, no problem. If you’d prefer a consolidated invoice with line-item site-level detail, no problem. Need something else, no problem. Just let us know, and we’ll make it happen for you. There is no billing requirement that is too complex for our custom billing system to handle.

Life is far too short to waste time reconciling monthly music bills. If you’re struggling with bills from your current music vendor, we’d be more than happy to remove that hassle from your life permanently.

Can I install SiriusXM Music for Business equipment myself?

Yes, of course. The reality is that satellite radios are pretty easy to install, and streaming players are even easier.

For satellite radio, you’ll need to make sure the SiriusXM antenna supplied with your radio is mounted outside with a clear view of the sky. The satellite antenna provided in our kit is 4 inches x 4 inches, which is slightly bigger than an old-school flip phone. Our kit also includes a cable that you can use to extend the satellite antenna up to 120 feet from your player. In most cases, the satellite antennas are mounted on a building’s window, soffit, or roof. As long as the antenna is mounted in a clear view of the southern sky, you should have a rock-solid signal and reliable music for years and years to come.

In terms of the streaming service, the only players that need to be installed are the dedicated business players. All you need to do is connect power, internet, and plug the player into your audio system. If there is a tricky part to a streaming player installation, it is to make sure your network firewall is set up in a way that allows the player to connect to the SiriusXM streaming servers. All of the network information for each player is front-and-center in our online support center. Click support in the top menu, click on your player, and locate the network setup document. Send the document to your IT department, and they’ll have everything they need to open your network to the best business music human beings have ever experienced.

Satellite Service

What channels are included in the SiriusXM Satellite Business package?

The satellite music package includes 69 SiriusXM music channels programmed and curated by the music experts at SiriusXM. The channels include family-friendly content with no advertisements. Pandora is not included in the satellite package but is available in the streaming package.

Satellite Service: What is included in SiriusXM Business satellite service?

The SiriusXM Business Satellite service includes 69 satellite-delivered music channels, many family-friendly and only play songs edited for general audiences.

Satellite Service: What equipment do I need to listen to the SiriusXM Business streaming service?

Connecting to the SiriusXM Business Satellite Service is easy. We provide a kit that includes everything you’ll need to get the SiriusXM Satellite Service up and running in your business. The kit consists of a satellite radio, home docking kit, outdoor antenna, and 100-foot antenna extension kit.

Installation usually is quick and easy for most businesses. The satellite players require a small antenna (3” x 3”) to be placed outside the building. Once placed, the player will start receiving service directly from the satellite, bypassing the internet altogether.

As with the internet players, the satellite receivers connect to any audio system or phone system for music on hold.

Satellite Service: How do I block channels that I don’t want to be played?

When you place your order, you will have the option to restrict your programming package to only channels that are considered “business safe.” This means that your satellite radio menu will only display those channels with family-friendly lyrics and themes.

You can even block more channels if you’d like. The radio can block any channel using a four-digit passcode. All you need to do is access the radio’s menu feature and go to town. This is a great way to limit your player’s channels to only those suitable for your business. Instruction for how to block individual channels is in the radio’s manual, or you can always contact Dynamic Media support at 586-978-4214 and an experienced technical support representative will walk you through the process in a few short minutes.

Satellite Service: Can I install the equipment myself?

Yes. Understanding basic electronics essentially over qualifies you to install your business radio. Important to note, the music antenna must be mounted external to the building with a clear view of the sky. If you choose to self-install the radio, Dynamic Media will provide every part you will need to complete the installation, along with printed instructions and 800-phone support.

Is the SiriusXM Satellite for Business easy to install?

Yes, installing your satellite system is very easy. There is a small satellite antenna about the size of a flip phone that needs to be installed with a clear view of the southern sky. We recommend that the antenna be installed outside for the strongest signal in business applications, but in some cases, indoor installation works fine.

Our Business Satellite package includes everything you need to get your SiriusXM satellite service playing in your business. Our business satellite radio kit consists of the following parts:

  • A SiriusXM Satellite Radio
  • Home Docking Kit
  • Audio cables, power adapter, remote control
  • SiriusXM Outdoor Antenna
  • 100-Foot Antenna Extension Kit

How far can the antenna be extended from the satellite radio?

Our basic antenna extension kit provides all the adapters, line amplifiers, and cables required to extend your music antenna up to 125 feet from the radio for business. If your building requires longer cable runs, it’s no problem. We have engineers on staff that can build a system to support virtually any environment. If you have unique installation requirements, please contact our team to discuss the specifics of your environment, and we’ll get you exactly what you need.

How does the SiriusXM Satellite for Business System work?

The music is sent from the SiriusXM satellites floating in the earth’s orbit directly to a small satellite antenna (about the size of an old flip phone) that is connected to your SiriusXM satellite radio. You do not need a computer or internet connection to set up or use the business satellite service.

Once the radio is installed, simply connect it to your audio system using the standard connections on the back of the radio.

Does the streaming business service and the satellite business service offer the same channels?

How much does SiriusXM Music for Business Featuring Pandora Artist Radio Service cost?

The SiriusXM Music for Business Featuring Pandora Artist Radio internet streaming service is $26.95 per month. It includes 240+ music channels, of which are explicitly formatted for business, absent of explicit lyrics and themes, no interruptions, no on-air hosts, and no mentions of SiriusXM.

The SiriusXM Business satellite service is also $26.95 per month and includes 69+ music channels, many of which are programmed with family-friendly lyrics and themes appropriate for general audiences. The Business Satellite service also includes 110+ news, talk, and sports channels licensed and legal to play in your business.

Unlike the SiriusXM consumer subscriptions, a subscription to either the satellite or internet streaming services includes the payment of public performance royalties to performance rights organizations that represent the music copyright holders, including ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, and SoundExchange. These royalties are mandatory for any music service that you use in a business environment.

Unlike most other commercial music subscription services, there are no long-term contracts for either business service.

How is SiriusXM Music for Business different from regular radio?

Firstly, SiriusXM Music for Business is licensed and legal to use in your business. There are very few cases where using regular terrestrial radio is legal to play in a business environment.

Second, and perhaps the most significant difference, SiriusXM Music for Business has 100% commercial-free music channels. This means that you’ll have music the way the artist intended it, without any commercial interruptions. Perhaps best of all is that you’ll never hear your competitor’s radio commercial playing in your business.

Thirdly, SiriusXM is programmed for a national audience of over 30 million people. The programmers at SiriusXM are some of the best music experts in the world, which means you will get the best music playlists available anywhere. Regular radio simply cannot compare to SiriusXM.

How do I set up a SiriusXM Music for Business Featuring Pandora Artist Radio Service subscription?

All SiriusXM Music for Business Featuring Pandora Artist Radio subscriptions are set up through Dynamic Media, SiriusXM’s national distributor. You can subscribe in one of these three ways:

  1. Online Store
  2. Phone: Contact Dynamic Media at 586-978-4214
  3. Contact Form: Complete the Contact Form, and a music expert will contact you within one business day

Does the SiriusXM + Pandora Business subscription include public performance licensing?

Yes! The SiriusXM + Pandora Business service includes all licensing and royalty payments to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, Sound Exchange, and SOCAN to ensure the music is legal to play in your business.

All the licensing fees are included in your low monthly payment. We then collect the fees and pay the licensing organizations on your behalf. In addition to the monthly payments, we also handle all the required reporting, so you don’t have to deal with any of it.

Does SiriusXM Music for Business Featuring Pandora Artist Radio have commercials?

No. Nada. Never. Every single SiriusXM + Pandora music channel is 100% commercial-free.

Can my SiriusXM Music for Business login credentials (username and password) be used on different devices?

Yes, the login information you get when you subscribe to SiriusXM Music for Business can be used on any device that accepts a SiriusXM Music for Business subscription. Beyond the SiriusXM Mobile App includes Apple TV, Amazon, Alexa, Samsung, and many others.

It’s important to note that you can only listen to one device at a time. In other words, you can use your login credentials for several different devices, but you can only listen to one stream of music at a time. If two devices use the same username and password simultaneously, the stream will stop at one of the players, and the device will display a message that reads, “Logged in Elsewhere.”

Can I use my personal SiriusXM subscription in my business?

SiriusXM offers both consumer and business subscription plans. While they both have great music, only the business service includes the licensing and royalty payments.

We take a portion of your subscription fee each month and then send a portion of it to the licensing organization each month. The performance rights organizations, namely ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, and SoundExchange, then take that money and pay the artists and musicians that made the music possible in the first place. The licensing is how the artists get paid.

Business users must subscribe to a business subscription. Not only is it a violation of the SiriusXM consumer agreement to use the music in a business, but it is a violation of copyright law and puts your business at risk for fines, penalties, and legal headaches.

Can I use my consumer SiriusXM subscription in my business?

There’s an important difference between SiriusXM’s consumer service and our commercial service. Only SiriusXM Music for Business meets the needs of business. It includes the required payments of public performance royalties to rights organizations such as ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, and SoundExchange, which represent the music copyright holders. All the royalties are included in your Music for Business monthly rate. This means, in addition to getting a music service that helps create an engaging environment for your business, all the licensing and administration is handled for you. Please Note: Business users must subscribe to a SiriusXM Business subscription. It is a violation of the SiriusXM Customer Agreement for consumers to use a consumer subscription for a business. A business user’s subscription is governed by the Customer Agreement for Music for Business Services.

Can I pay for the SiriusXM + Pandora service month-to-month, or do I need to sign a long-term contract?

All our contracts are month-to-month with no long-term commitment or cancellation fees. You also have the option to purchase subscriptions annually or quarterly by credit card, check, or ACH.

The reality is that the SiriusXM + Pandora business service is so good that over 98% of clients who try it keep using it for years. You are about to transform the music environment of your business. Your employees and customers will love you for it.
